Observing nature from fossils and remnants of the past we will be working to create elements that evoke fossils in a contemporary approach. Working with special rods of glass in the ivory family we will create aging effects and textures. This workshop will encourage you to:
1- Look at techniques to create that weathered feel by choice of glass and colors.
2- Work with blown glass shards.
3- Work with frits in various methods to add depth.
4- Create a Fossil Bead
